My darling children, John, Rose, Nellie, Daniel & of course
Boris.
Its 10am & I imagine you are all still tucked up in bed. It is a chilly & dreary day, so here I am. Forthwith
the photograph I said I'd send you of John & Judy. John
would be nearly three &
Judy four & a half. John's shows were red & his little suit green & white he was then very fair.
Judy dress I'd made was very
pale pink chiffon over a pink slip she looked quite angelic. They were so alike everyone thought they were twins!
The one of me was taken by
Ann (carer) I had to have 2 of [?] to claim my orange Disability
Badge for the car I now
weigh 9 stone 6
lbs & my body very
wrinkled & I feel I've become a shuffling old
woman!! The photographs you sent are delightful the children just beautiful. John & Rose you look so charming
both of you I've shown
them to everyone & now I'm going to put them in the last album I always go through all the albums on Sunday
so I've got you all imprinted
on my mind. Rose John says you were the belle of the ball you
looked so lovely & how you
danced with everyone he felt quite a "wallflower"!! I'm glad you enjoyed it & now you have a
really new care. Take
care, Be happy. XXXXX. love to all. MUM XXXXXX
