The letters linked to from this page were written to me by my parents in 1977. I was living in Valhalla, New York, and working for Savin.

• Birthdays:  My father was 78 in July, my mother 65 in March, my brother Noel was 47 in January, my sister Judith 34 in September. Judith's daughter Tessa, my niece, was 10 in September. I was 32 in June.

• Hatched, matched, detached, dispatched:  My nephew Marcus was born on January 31.
